Well, here it is a mere two weeks since the launch of the iPhone 3G and the iPhone firmware 2.0, and I am lounging in a chair outside a restaurant, blogging to my hearts content. I also just updated my Twitter status, and chatted with a few friends via AIM.

The oppotunities the iPhone offers those who desire true mobile connectivity are as endless as the number of random and worthless games I have come across so far.

But, this is really pretty fun. A bit later than 2001, and no HAL 9000, but still.

Just when you thought you’d seen it all, someone pops up out of the bubble and does something truly “out of the box”. This is pretty dang insane.

One of the projects that we recently launched at Ariamedia is a redesign for the City of Allen, located in north Texas. While this would normally have gone uncommented by myself (we launch a lot of websites), an interesting thing has happened.

A reporter named Emily Goldstein of The Dallas Morning News has a piece outlining the benefits of the new launch, and what started out as an article about the launch ends with a short interview with our CEO, Ryan Thompson, discussing the rationale behind the project and our ongoing relationship.

In any case, it’s always nice to be recognized for your efforts, and especially for a project that was as extensive as the one we completed for the City of Allen.
